THE NEXT PART OF THE STORY
May this be one of those weeks where, even if it is hard to notice, making room for the story to change can be a powerful act of care. You may let go of what is no longer needed. You may hold on to what still matters. You may make room for the next part in the way that feels possible now.
It can take time for a change in the story to feel like it has made any room at all, especially when it comes from a goodbye you did not want or did not feel ready to face. In that place, may you know it is okay if part of you still misses what was there. What ended can be real, and what still matters can be real too. Then, with time, one breath or one small choice may help you notice that change can also make a new place in the story. A place where the past can stay true and something else can begin.
So, if making room does not yet feel like relief, it does not mean you have failed. Make room in the way you can, even in ordinary moments. It may be one deep breath, one new plan, or one thing moved to a new place. You do not have to make sense of it all at once. These small acts are not cut off from each other. They are slowly helping you build a new way to be in this part of the story. You are making room for what still matters and what may still become part of the story.
Here’s to the next part of the story...and making space for what is new
More tomorrow…
Sincerely,
